Win for Excellence and Innovation at 2018 icare CASE Awards

The Positivum health coaching booklet – a guide forward

Sydney: IPAR’s Positivum™ assessment and health coaching program won the Excellence and Innovation in Injury Management Award at the 2018 icare CASE Awards held in Sydney on Tuesday, 13th November.

A validated biopsychosocial tool developed by IPAR in conjunction with Monash University, Positivum™ is helping our consultants to identify a person’s beliefs and perceptions around work and health. The subsequent, tailored health coaching program then enables us to make the appropriate, early interventions to address barriers and help people recover and get back to being themselves.

Congratulations to Dorothy Frost, Group Manager – Research and Innovation, Dr Dianne Sheppard, Research Fellow, Monash University, and all those involved in the design, development and implementation of Positivum™ including all consultants across IPAR who have incorporated it into their service delivery. And huge thanks to our partners in research and development, in particular Monash University, The Behavioural Insights Team and MOO Marketing & Design.
